Fishing Manitou Lake
Lower Manitou Lake is famous for its abundance of fish and its trophy fish. It is especially known for its trophy Muskie fishing. Beyond that, the Lake Trout fishing, Northern Pike fishing, Walleye Fishing, Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass fishing are truly remarkable. Muskie are as plentiful as they get, with monsters that reach over 50 inches. Lower Manitou Lake is one of 10 lakes in Ontario where biologists feel the next World Record Muskie could be caught. Lake Trout are numerous and range from good eating size to true lunkers! Smallmouth bass and Pike are prolific throughout the lake. And the Walleye are not as numerous but they are big!
Ontario Government biologists have designated Lower Manitou Lake as a top Trophy Muskie Lake. Biologists feel that there are Muskie of unbelievable sizes here. These are fish of a lifetime!
