Manitou Weather Station

American Plan Fishing Trip Package

This is the ultimate Canadian fishing trip package. The fly-in trip will get your adrenaline started the moment you step foot in your charter float plane and it won’t stop until you are home again. Boat-in taxi service lets you unwind a little more slowly from your non-fishing life, a beautiful 60-minute trip that will show you first-hand the remoteness of the adventure ahead of you.

You will be provided with your own deluxe cabin accommodations and delicious home-style cooked meals in the main lodge.

Each day our experienced fishing guides will have you out on the vast Lower Manitou waters to maximize your angling success and adventures. Daily, the guides will prepare you a traditional, freshly-caught shore lunch prepared on an open fire, or a hearty but quick sack lunch to squeeze in more time for your fishing trip.

Rates below include lodging, meals, fishing guides, and boat-in taxi.

Housekeeping Packages

Our two most popular housekeeping plans are either WE boat you in or YOU boat in directly with your own boat. We will provide you with detailed instructions to get to Esox Landing, whether for boat taxi service or to launch your own boat.

Our perfect location on Lower Manitou AND the best lodging in the area makes our housekeeping packages the very best value for your fishing dollars!

Both plans offer you our deluxe cabins with screened in three-season rooms, private docks and hook ups to charge your boats and electronics. Cabins have full kitchens with all the items needed to cater to the “foodies” in the group. There are also BBQs and a larger grill at the main lodge.

Before finalizing your housekeeping plan – consider one or two more items to significantly increase the value of your trip. First consider adding one or two days of guide service at the beginning of your trip – these experienced guides will put you on the best fishing any day of the season. Second, consider adding a meal, especially on the day of arrival or day of departure – it just allows you more time to be focused on fishing.

Prices are all in U.S. funds and do not include tips or lodging taxes. Ontario lodging tax (HST) at time of publication is 13%.

The Housekeeping Plan includes lodging with optional add-ons.

You can opt to boat in with your own boat, have us pick you up in our boat, or fly in with a local float plane charter. The Housekeeping Plan is designed for guests that prefer to cook their own meals, but you can choose to add as many lodge meals as you would like, including shore lunches (rates vary).  You can also add boat rental for days of your choosing, and we highly suggest hiring a fishing guide for a day or more espeically if you are new to the lake.

Each day our experienced guides will have you out on the vast Manitou waters. Their expertise will maximize your success and adventures on the Manitou and will put you on the best fishing any day of the season. The guides will prepare you a traditional, freshly-caught shore lunch cooked on an open fire.

The guides are a big part of making a good trip GREAT! Our guides are one of the many reasons our guests come back to fish at our lodge! We are very proud of the continuous compliments from our guests on the high quality of guide service provided at MWS.

If you are new to the lake – this is an excellent investment in having a much more productive fishing experience. Our guides can put you onto some great fishing – and make sure you find those hot spots! Our guides also know what the fish are biting on today and the best lures and techniques for each species. The Lower Manitou is a really big lake – so think about investing in a day or two for a guide to make your trip even more enjoyable.

If you did not arrange guide service when you booked your trip – there is still a chance you could book one of our guides for a day or half day. Ask at the Main Lodge for our rates.
